I first fell in love with gardening by watching my mother in our backyard garden, She loved to grow raspberries! When I was a senior in high school we got the option to chose from a few choices at a local vocational school the natural choice for myself was landscape and horticulture design. Over the year I learned so much from an accomplished grower that was our instructor I owe all my "roots" in gardening from the basics I learned in his classroom. I'll never forget how much he stressed cleanliness in all aspects of growing and to treat everything you grow and touch as if it was your own and if it was an edible plant to treat it as if you are the end consumer. After I finished high school I had various jobs with landscaping and growing and have never stopped gardening and growing my own. A few years back I made the switch to growing primarily organic and recently with the advances in vegan or veganix options this is now the latest shift for me in my growing history and love that no byproducts or animal waste/bone is being used in the production of my crops! I'm currently living and gardening in the great city of Denver, Colorado and looking forward to help everyone make the switch to veganic farming! I hope to see a future with veganic grown produce readily available to everyone not just those who chose to grow their own crops! Also very excited to be a helping hand and to be here to answer any questions that are posted on this forum I hope to make everyone a more successful grower no mater what your skill level is just remember there is no such thing as a "dumb" question. As my dad always said " A closed mouth never gets fed" so never be afraid to ask!
