    Hello @Everyone

Have you ever wondered what was in that cannabis you just chose to consume, well here below I have gave a brief description of what is in cannabis!

    As always LightSpeedGrows,

Have a great growing day with a feel good vibe!

                           What is the medicine/cannabis?

    The T’s

    THC-Tetrahydrocannabinol

    • THC is the primary psychoactive compound found in cannabis. THC has also been found to be a neuroprotective compound with analgesic (pain relieving) effects.

    THC-A Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid

    • THC-A is the most prominent compound found in raw cannabis. When heated/burned/vaporized it converts to the psychoactive compound THC. THC-A is believed to contribute to the anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic effects of cannabis. Also though to an anti-proliferative (tumor fighting compound.)

    THC-V Tetrahydrocannabivarin

    • The research shows that THC-V may provide help in treating metabolic disorders such as Diabetes. THC-V has also been studied for its appetite suppressing properties (wouldn’t that be cool to lose weight from cannabis all naturally.)

    The C’s

    CBC- Cannabichromene

    • CBC is a Non-Psychoactive cannabinoid. Believed to have anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, and possible analgesic properties just like THC without the psychoactive effects. Studies are also underway examining the cancer fighting properties of CBC!

    CBD- Cannabidiol

    • CBD is a Non-Psychoactive cannabinoid. CBD is the second most common compound found in cannabis, it has strong anti-inflammatory and anti-convulsive aspects. Some strains now are being breed and cultivated to contain much higher levels of CBD and little to no THC making these new strains ideal for young children and those who do not desire or need the Psychoactive effects of the THC in cannabis.

    CBD-A Cannabidiolic Acid

    • CBD-A is a Non-Psychoactive cannabinoid. Believed to reduce inflammation and inhibit cancer cell growth! CBD changes to CBD-A When heated via smoking/burning/vaporizing.

    CBD-V Cannabidivarin

    • CBD-V is a Non-Psychoactive cannabinoid. Studies have shown it to be an ideal anticonvulsant, making it Ideal for helping in the treatment of various seizure disorders

    CBG- Cannabigerol

    • CBG is a Non-Psychoactive cannabinoid. It has been shown to reduce and provide relief of intraocular pressure which is a main symptom of glaucoma! It also has shown signs of antibacterial properties as well.

    CBN- Cannabinol

    • CBN is the only one of the “C’s” that contain Psychoactive properties, but it only has about 10% of the Psychoactive strength as THC.

    L.S.G. Hi,

I am close to drying and curing and i would like to know if i have to make oil to cure my liver cancer or can i cook with it and eat that ? I will harvest in about a week and they are beautiful. It was hard for me to understand everything in my condition but i know how to do better on my next. My next run i have ready in a small tent under T 8s and i have topped them allot and i snapped some stems and they are growing sideways. I love doing this but it’s hard work for me, my doctor says it’s OK just don’t over do.

    Thanks, Zap

    Hello Zap1969,

I’m looking into your question and researching a few things so I can give you a solid answer, but in my opinion if you are “activating” your cannabis before ingestion you will be getting max benefits from your flower. Activating your cannabis can be done many ways and whatever method is easiest for you to do is the one I would try first.

    As always LightSpeedGrows,

Have a great growing day with a feel good vibe!
