Hi y’all, I had to get my hubby out of town before he had a meltdown after working 7 days a week for the last 3-4 months and now one of my plants in FLOWER is half dead and wilted. 🙁
I watered them really well when I left on Thursday morning and the others are all OK but my FAV is wilted and half of the plant looks like its almost dead…some of the leaves on that side are even dry and will crumble when touched…the other part is just wilted.
I HAVE to SAVE her, this is my main girl, the one that works best on my pain so I gave her plain water right away…
WHAT SHOULD I DO?? I have nutes and superthrive and was going to give her some of that but wanted to ask you guys what to do since you have been at this alot longer than me.
HELP!! I need to save her if at all possible, what should I do? I will keep checking for answers so thanks in advance…
what color are these dry and crumbling leaves? talk to her, pray, everything will get better, she’s a weed. it takes a while for them to repair, because you feel terrible just the same.. they love you as you love them. they will get better.
I will go snap some pics to post right now…it’s just that she is “THE ONE” that REALLY works on my pain…what’s really strange is how the water ran strsight thru her even tho I poured it in slowly, barely sprinkling it over the top are and close to the stem & roots…maybe she’s perked up by now.
Thanks for the advice & prayers.
sounds like its under watered were the plant pots really light before you watered if so the plant should be fine BEST OF LUCK
Yeah it’s weird…she dried out on one side so idk what happened as this is the shortest one in the room so farthest away from the light…I gave her a very watered down dose of nutes and superthrive…hopefully she will be perked up tomorrow. I coiuldn’t get pics but Thanks for the support!
Yea MOMMA, sounds like you dried her out like the guys said. Good thing you watered, should be fine if it wasn’t to dry. Send us a pic when you can.
OK, here’s what is left of my Momma kush plant, about half died off when she dried out so I’m not going to be expecting many flowers off her unfortunately….I have 2 left in flower just starting week 5 so if anyone has an example what the buds should look like by week #5 I would love to see it so I can compare mine….I know mine aren’t going to look as good as the plants you experts grow but I would like to see an example anyway so I know…can’t find any pics in my books…thanks!
I’m sorry to hear about your troubles Momma K.
Cultivating is a full-time job. I looked through my pics but didn’t want to scare you with something pro-fesh-O-nal.
Suffice to say, the buds should be around ehhhhh, 60-75% of their finishing size. All pistils still white and leaves still green.
Hopefully she comes back to life for you…:-)
Thanks Kyle I know you’re pictures are so amazing I can’t compare to that, LOL and I’m sure that if I had been using nutes their entire life cycle I would have done better so I am starting the nutes program using Genral Organics on my clones now. This plant is recovering but actually looks like half of it is dead…the fan leaves curled up and fell off while the other 3-5 stalks are green & growing and budding. I will try again to post a pic
Hey momma k sorry to hear about your troubles but think of your plants like they are your children and always know that they need your attention pretty much everyday even if you’re on an automated system or manually watering I’m not being sarcastic just trying to help ,I also think with a lot of love and regular watering schedule your plant should and will return to its health but most likely not what it would’ve been had she not dried up.
Momma, you had plenty of nutrients in your soil and in your bloom nutrients. The reason why your plants dried out is because they needed water. You dried them out, even the most healthiest plants will do the same thing if they don’t get the correct amount of water and attention. There is no magic bottle that will correct human error. When you leave town you should always have a trusted person watch your garden for you. Plus it looks like you should of used a 7-10 gal. container, if they were in a seven or a ten gallon container the roots would of had more air to breath and grow happier. Careful feeding your clones nutrients when using happy frog or ocean forest, these soils have more than enough nutrients to grow a happy healthy plant for at least two weeks. After the two weeks start introducing the G.O. veg feed chart. I just want you to know I thought your plants looked nice and healthy the last time I saw them, just thought you should of went with a bigger pot. I love the Cannabis plant and I will only share honest knowledge that will teach the next Cultivator to care for and love her the same. TEAM KUSHMAN
Braveheart I know you speak the truth and yes I did dry her out ….I left the light too close to her and forgot to raise it higher before I left. I always lift the pots to see if they are light and she was so even tho she measured 3.5 on my moisture meter I still gave her more water before I left cuz you all know I had to save my namesake, LOL. just another lesson learned…..I told you I have a brown thumb : D
Great advice from Braveheart!
Thank you Kyle, Momma Kush brings out the best in me, just want you to be happy Momma, and get the meds you deserve ~~~;-D always have always will
I’m learning so much from you guys I have to print out your answers so I can refer back to them when I’m with my girls , LOL you know they say the memory is the first thing to go when you get older….now, what was I saying? LOL
It’s a great feeling knowing that you’re helping somebody…:-)
Momma Kush, how is your lady OG Looking Now? Just checking on you.
She is still alive, or I should say HALF alive as only half is still growing. The rest of her is kinda drying up…I will take some pics today and post them in an hour or so. The Lemon cross will finish first, this is week #6 of flower, she’s got trichs bustin out all over but they’re still white or clear and nowhere near full. My OGKush is just started producing trichs and the other plant I calll Big Mike was named after that swimmer Michael something, anyway that’s a clone off my 1st attempt and it took over 100 days last time, remember Braveheart we were going nuts waiting for it to finish, LOL so I figure that one will finish last.
Here’s my half dead girl after wk#5 in flower. idk if you can tell but half, well a little more than half actually is still growing. Her buds may be tiny but she is still trying to grow. I would love to hear your advice on what to do with her….fyi – she just started producing trichs a day or two ago….I can’t get the photos to post, sorry, idk why…
trying to post the photo..and it’s not working. I see others are having the same problem… 😕 😕
here is my lemon cross week 5 of flower…hopefully the pics will post this time…no pics still, ssorry
I’m sorry Momma K. I’ve had problems in the past as well. But it usually clears up after a few tries…
