I’ve tried many of the commercially available teas and microbial innoculants. From powdered to multi-step brews, and even the stuff brewed up in-store and sold by the gallon. The absolute best way to innoculate is by brewing your own at home. It’s the only way you can be sure your using it at peak strength.
For the last 2 years I’ve been using one brand exclusivley. OG-Tea is the only all-in-one microbial innoculant tea that I know of. I love it so much I made the inventor my partner. Go to http://www.ogTea.com and check it out…:-)

Kushman, when you say all-in-one tea, does that mean it replaces both Myco Madness and Bountea?

OG Tea is an all-in-one because you don’t have to add additional food sources for the microbes. They’re all in there!
The samnple packs we gave out have instructions on them. They make 5 gallons of microbial tea by adding to fresh water and aerating. I use 1tblsp/gl for the first half of the cycle, then move up to 2tblsp/gl…:-)

Apparently the OG Tea is a straight microbe tea? I brew my own compost tea but change up my guano from veg to flower. Does the OG Tea have any nutritional value? Do you continue through your flush with the tea?

I run in “unsuperfied” soil and alternate between nutrients and tea. I used to just alternate with nutes one feeding and the next straight H2O. The growth has been phenomenal since introducing my freshly brewed teas. I want to switch to a concentrate and eliminate the mess of the tea bag. Do you honestly think that the OG Tea can compare to a fresh brewed tea? thanks

OG Tea is what Fresh-Brewed tea should be. Adding the Root Webstar(available soon) to the nutrient solution once/month will add all the important Glomus species of beneficial fungi. And yes, it will make a huge difference in the overall health and vigor of your plants no matter what nutrients your using…:-)

This is extremely true, I just began using OG TEA 3 weeks ago and I love it and my plants love it. First off, being able to brew 4-6 hours if youd like or 24 is great when you have a busy schedule and forgot to brew the day before ~~~;-D Second you have to tell yourself to stop trying to grab the carbs or any activator packs after putting your airstone in the water because it has them already in it, and it also has other veganic nutrients to keep feeding the beneficial microbes to keep your soil alive and active, isnt this our ultimate goal being Veganic and Organic Cultivators~~~;-D Happy healthy soil, Happy healthy plants.

    Niceness Kyle-
throwing down outdoors for the first time in yeeeeaars this season, a few questions regarding tea:
-Is rootwebstar available now for the 1st, granular feeding, to be sprinkled in the transplant hole?
-When is it time for the OG Tea pure as opposed to regular bi-weekly feedings with the Veganic Special Sauce?
-How should I best combine the tea with my nute schedule?
    Many thanks, brother

Hello all! This is OGTEA and I want to get involved with this conversation. Rootwebstar is not available online but if you call the number on our website and we can work something out im sure of it. OG Tea Pure is the microbe as a stand alone. This product will be available for individuals that only want microbes and nothing else. I use OGTea on every watering until flush. I would usually start the brew 24hrs before watering and just add my nutrient to the brew and feed. I am seeing that i get the same results without brewing at all and just add to water with nutrient. This is one of the many great features of OGTea. JUST ADD WATER!!! Simple and easy. All the hard work has been done so the users life is easy. I would also like to make a few comments about people brewing there own teas. I know that there are many people who brew and love there own teas. I personally encourage people to keep brewing there favorite stuff and adding a smaller amount of Veganic Special Sauce to there brew. This will heighten the already existing microbe colonies and add the special microbe blend of OGTea to your recipe. There are several great ways to use OGTea Veganic Special Sauce. Top dressing, brewing, foliar feeding, adding to any and all nutrient programs, and adding it to your own favorite brews. Much Love Everyone. It is a beautiful day in Sonoma County!!

Getting the same results without brewing? What’s your opinion on that Kyle? Reason I ask is because you brew/aerate when using this product. I think I will still choose to grew when I get my OG Tea.

Brewing is not necessary. Especially if your using it consistantly. If you want to run a short brew cycle now and that’s fine. Just pay attention to the pH…:-)

So when using bountea,is the same thing happening with the brew? Like phing may be required after adding npkor will the benecials and microbes fix things on their own.I plan to use the bountea. Along with og tea I’ve top dressed watered and ran one 24 hour brew of special sauce. I only. Add ph down if its just aerated filtered water and plan to add npk to my bountea brew.

Bountea is a compost tea. It’s different, you have to aggitate and help the microbes release from the organic matter. OG-Tea has encapsulated microbes, ready to go once they’re hydrated.
Also, I rarely pH down, since pH is constantly dropping in an organic medium as time goes by…:-)

SO brewing won’t multiply the microbes in the OG Tea? Hate to keep beating the dead horse but I just want to dial in the best method on applying the tea. I’m new to teas, but am seeing amazing results from my home brewed compost tea. I’m not wanting to go backwards in benefiting my girls. Since I already have the brewer would it be in my best interest to follow through with brewing the OG Tea? Or, is that just simply wasting my energy and time? Again, thanks Kyle and I hope you’re not getting perturbed with my battery of questions in this thread I just very inquisitive and new to soil karma. 🙂

It’s good to brew for a short period on occassion. When you brew OG-Tea a single strain of beneficial microbe becomes dominant in the tea. Basically destroying all others.. that’s why brewing is NOT necessary…:-)

Gotcha! That’s just makes it easier for us. Not that easier is better, but in this situation it seems so. Glad my questions helped you out Cultivator. And i was just starting to like the brewing process. What would we do without you Kyle? HaHa 🙂

We here at OG Tea used to brew every time. When we told the people at our microbe facility (who all have a PHD in microbiology) that we were aerating, they said there is no need to brew it. In fact when you just add water all the microbes in the special blend have time to inoculate at an equal pace. When aerating a specific species become dominant and take over all the available space. This is not a bad thing because the Bascillus strain is like a vaccine for your plant. Now we just add water and we see the same results. So for ease of use we typically just add water. Now on the other hand, you wouldnt believe how many people have come up with there own way of using OG Tea. I have heard of multiple stories and different techniques people have used and love the results. The great thing about OG Tea is that it will not burn your plants. So feel free to experiment and post your results to share with everyone. Lots of Love from Beautiful Sonoma County!!!

OG Tea Sir, first let me start off by saying I love your product. I have a question though, I have been mixing my OGTea in a 5gal bucket next to my resevoir, in my resevoir I would add all my nutrients and additives and then I would dump my 5 gal bucket of tea straight into my resevoir. Now if I decide not to brew my tea, can I just add OGTea ingredients straight into my resevoir? Thankyou for your help, and thankyou again for such a killer product, it has taken my overall cost down per cycle so far~~~;-D

If you grow hydro my advice is to mix up enough OG Tea in a separate bucket to give each plant 2 or 3 cups hand watered. I like to hand water so the microbes dont go through the electric current of the res pump. If you are already watering by hand you can add OG Tea right to your nutrient mix and water. Much Love!

Also talked to them about the new line, Kyle. Told them it will revolutionize the growing scene to keep there eyes open. I’ve puffed the veganic flowers that has come from the Master cultivator! Just wondering why you go out of your way to keep microbes from the electric pump?
can the pump harm the microbes?

Man Kyle & everyone awesome info & I so glad I found this thread as I was going to get the Bountea but now I’ll be ordering the OG Tea product! 🙂 but I’ll pickup Root Web from Bountea like Kyle said. Since I use RO water I’ve been adding Dolomite lime to my medium, what’s you thought’s on this? I did this for the Ca/Mg & helping with the Ph in the soil. I have to head to the city next week so I’m picking up the Canna Vega & Flora, also Manna Matrix medium, thanks everyone for all the help!

You should use OG-Tea at least once a week. I use it with every watering.

A little lime can certainly help. Most mixes already contain a good amount. When I used to make my own mixes I’d use 2 cups per 3.2 cubic foot bale of peat.

Thanks Kyle, yeah I have been using it every time, do you always add it to your water or do you ever top dress with it to? I believe it’s 15 ml for top dressing, is that for a 1 gallon container? I’ve really seen the difference since using & I’m so glad I bought the bucket of Veganic Special Sauce must be 20lbs, plus the great guy I talked to also give me a jar of Web Star. I though I ask this some where but I can’t fined it & for got to subscribe. What size containers is your nutrients going to come in?

I don’t think you need to top dress if you’re watering with it every time.

Thanks Kyle, yeah I didn’t do both, sometime I’d top dress but most times I just add to my RO water. Cool on the nutrient sizes I like buy gallons size, are you taking orders yet? I can get a check in the mail today! 🙂 I know working with OG Tea has been awseome, I picked 5 pound of Web Star up to go with the 20lbs of VSS I picked up, great guy to work with. I bought 2 liters of Bio-Canna Vega & Flores along with Bio Boost to hold me over until your Veganics nutrients line comes out, i didn’t want to buy but I was out of the other organics I use to run. Sorry I didn’t reply back sooner but this summer has been crazy busy, I planted over 2000 different types of trees on my property along with food plots for the wildlife plus gardening & spending time with my grand-kid, man this summer is gone, so hard to believe how fast time flies. One other thing, I had read where you said you always have water aerating, do you still do that? I have for a long time after reading about that from you.
