    Team Kushman,
I took some clones today basically using the method that I explain in the Propagation Cloning 101 thread, except for I am using a larger size commercial type dome. I decided to run this veganic thread to share with you my medical methods. Follow me through this process to both learn and enjoy the benefits of growing your own medical veganic garden. I will be growing Private Stock Platinum Girl Scout Cookies, Kyle Kushman Strawberry Cough and Rare Dankness StarKiller. It’s guaranteed to be a educational experience, especially with Professor Kushman keeping an eye on me ~~~;-D

P.S. Yup that’s a double headed Strawberry Cough Clone

Awesome job Braveheart! I’m excited to see them progress! I haven’t decided on what I should try next, I’m thinking the Jack Herer by Green House. I wish I could try that Strawberry Cough!

Thank you Noodle ~~~;-D. The clones are looking green and perky still, I will share pics as soon as I see some beautiful roots popping out of the coco plugs. I personally prefer the coco plugs over the rockwool because the coco plugs breakdown and the rockwool doesn’t. Jack Herer is a wonderful strain Noodle, TGA Genetics just recently released a Jack Herer x Space Queen seed called Galactic Jack~~~;-D

I never knew that about the plugs. I’ll have to make sure to use cocoa plugs if I do use them. Is there a noticeable difference in planting a seed in a plug then in soil? I’ll put Galatic Jack on my next order! Have you tried jillybean Braveheart?

Grow Broski King, YEEEEEEEEEEHAW!!!! You know the American BraveHeart will travel through the tree’s to be there for his Ganja Family. You know where to get a hold of me. One love Brother from another mother plant.

Grow Broski Noodle, I have not grown JillyBean, but I have grown other TGA strains like Space Queen, Jack the Ripper, Agent Orange, Ace of Spades, Chernobyl and a few others. TGA is a good company, I personally know Dioxide, he’s a good hearted man.

Grow Broski IrieMon, IT’S GONNA BE IRIE!!!!

Grow Update: Found a few roots popping out this morning, It’s not enough though. It’s good to have a substantial amount of roots before transplanting clones to reduce the risk of shock. 3-5 more days and we will transplant and take pics Team Kushman ~~~:-D

Grow Update: These little ladies are alive and super healthy, I am ecstatic with the amount of roots coming out of my coco plugs for a stress free transition. The joy and happiness of seeing those shiny white roots poking out will never change, crop after crop. It is a feeling of self-sufficiency. By the way they all rooted ~~~;-D.

Media: I have been doing extensive research on Veganic premade soil blends and have decided to use TGA Base Blend, it is made with just the right amount of coco and sphagnum, and has an array of Beneficial Bacterias.

Oregonism Xl- Soluble Endo/Ecto Mycorrhizae , beneficial Bacterias and Trichoderma. I use a 4×4 small nursery pot and the TGA media and make a hole the size of my coco plug and sprinkle a 1/4 teaspoon of Oregonism XL in the hole before I plant the clone. Then I plant the clone leaving a half inch from the top of the container and the media. Everytime I transplant I add a little bit more oregonism xl until I get into my final container that I will be flowering in, at that time I use a granular mycorrhizae, the granular will bind and stay in your final pot for the long haul and is less likely to wash out the bottom. The soluble Mycorrhizae are great for smaller pots, transplanting and a quick dose. Don’t forget to label your plants somehow so you don’t forget what strains you have and they don’t get mixed up.
    .
First feeding and Transplant feed solution:

Water- Like Kyle say’s “Chlorine does not recognize good and bad bacteria, it kills it all”. In order to have a living thriving soil or soilless media full of beneficial bacteria’s use R/O water (Reverse Osmosis). There are many decent R/O filter systems on the market, I prefer Hydrologic systems. If you don’t have or cannot get R/O water, let your tap water sit for 48 hours at least 24 to let the chlorine burn off.
Some cultivators like to use a air stone bubbler to help this process. Personally I find it best to always hand water, especially when watering with beneficial bacteria’s and micro organisms.

Vitamin B-1- One thing that all Medical Cannabis Cultivators should be worried about is stressing their beloved plants. Vitamin B-1 is a plant stress reliever. It can be used during the entire growing process, but should definitely be used during all transplanting stages and the 12/12 transition period to help relieve any stress that may occur or just keep a healthy stress free transition.

OG Tea- This tea has the right amount of nutrients, carbs, and microbes to jumpstart your Veganic babies to the next level and healthier than ever. In order to achieve a successful Veganic crop your media must have a healthy Microbe community. You are not feeding your plants your feeding your microbes. The beneficial microbes will digest and break down plant based nutrients and additives and then feed your Cannabis plants. This is why I am creating a MICROBE SHMORGISBORG.

I have checked my ph and as long as I am in the 5.8- 7.0 range with Veganics I know I am gonna be A ok. Veganics has a broader ph range that is safe to work with. Plus the TGA Base Mix has Dolomite Lime, a natural ph adjuster.

Hardening Off- Now after I have transplanted all of my clones and have fed them with my first feed solution I am going to mist them one last time with my Olivias spray and place them back into my dome and cover them with a slight opening to allow a little fresh air to harden them off for 24 hours and then take the dome completely off. Have you ever planted a healthy rooted clone and came back the next day and it was so so or wilting over or seemed stressed? It’s because it was shocked because of the quick change in its environment, you have to harden them off adjusting them slowly to the new environment and give them a stress free transplant.

P.S. Yup that’s our double headed Strawbz baby. Living in a medical state where I am allowed a very small number of plants to grow I have to be creative from the start to achieve higher yields. BraveHeart double headed clones

THANKYOU GROW BRO’S, Kyle you taught me well. Wasn’t the Veganic Cultivation article Frrrreaking RAD!!! The little ladies are looking great. I will take pics while I transplant into a larger container in a week or so, but so far after I fed the first feeding, the second feeding only had plain water and then the 3rd feeding will start getting nutrients and hygrozyme 1/4 – 1/2 dose strength working our way up to full strength or more as the plants get larger. I like to transition into nutrients slowly, always thinking stress free transitions. STRESS FREE and always EXTREMELY CLEAN ~~~;-D!!!

Grow Update: Transplanted the little ladies this morning, and set my 4 foot 8 bulb t-5 to its high setting. The T-5 is on a timer now, set for 20 hours on-4 hours off. The roots look nice and thick and you can see our MICROBE SHMORGISBORG is working great ~~~;-D. If you look under the head topic Veganics and scroll down to the microbe bar, Professor Kushman describes microbes way more in detail and will help you understand more in depth. While I transplanted into the next container (one gallon) I continued on the same transplanting menu and transplant feed solution as above creating the MICROBE SHMORGISBORG, except this time we sprinkled 1 teaspoon of Oregonism XL inside the hole directly before we transplanted into the TGA base mix so the roots touch the Oregonism XL directly. After that I fed them the Transplant solution of Vitamin B1 & OG Tea. Always transplant in a timely manner so that your roots don’t get root bound in each container size as you work your way up into your final container, it helps your roots stay healthy and steady growing correctly, which means your vegetation will grow steady and healthy as well. Make sure to not over fertilize and over water, let your pots almost completely dry out before you water again, during the vegetation period you want around 90-95% dry / 5-10% moisture before you water again, get used to lifting your pots so you can measure the weight and get used to how they feel and how the top of your media looks before you have to water again. One love Professor K. and Team Kushman, I’m sure I’m forgetting something but I’m off to work in BHLanD, till the next Grow Update stay stress free and extremely clean!!!

    Dear Team,
I thought I would take a break from this Grow session to give you a little information about my Cannabis cultivating background. I have been cultivating Cannabis from an early age, I’m a second generation Cannabis grower. I was a little nieve until I was around 13 years old, my father’s yard was beautiful with many different types of exotic flowers and plants, he would work my butt off in the yard when I was a little boy, I just wanted to ride my bike like the rest of the neighborhood kids. But today I thank him for sharing his knowledge and educating me. I learned to love all kinds of plants. By the age of 14 almost 15 I had my first outdoor cannabis plant. Though I loved Cannabis early and knew of it’s beauty it wasn’t until one special day at school in my French class, my close friend Kev T sat right next to me, he opened his French book and walla there it was, the first high times magazine I had ever seen. He opened it to a special page and article called “Adam’s Attic”, my grow bro’s and I called it “The Attic from Heaven”. It was a Kyle Kushman Garden more than twenty years ago, and from the moment I read that article and saw this guy from New York growing the BOMB, I was all in, I was motivated and had the confidence. Kyle inspired me and my young GrowBro’s the Original Grow Bro’s, Jonny Rom, Kev T, Med Dawg and Joe Chill aka OG FOGG99, by the time we were 16-17 years old we were growing our first indoor crop, we were a special group of young men, down for each other. Kev T would always get the new High Times so we could flip to the back just to see what Killer tips we could learn from Kyle in the Ask Kyle section. Kev T always did proper research and would make sure we were all learning correctly. I have continued to cultivate cannabis for many years through the good times and the bad times, never giving up. I grew up in central Calif. and Santa Cruz, I have also lived in Vermont and Eugene Oregon fine tuning my craft all these years. I will tell you though, the foundation and style of my growing techniques all stem from my father and the many things I have learned from Kyle over the many years, he was one of the first of his kind, a pioneer sharing the beloved information of growing Cannabis. I have grown many different ways and styles over the years and have taught many just the way Kyle and my father taught me. There is more to this story about Kyle and I, and I will share it later down the road. I’m here for you Team Kushman, LET’S GROW!!!!!

Grow Update: These lovely ladies are moving along fast. The StarKiller and Strawberry are growing at a really nice pace, the Platinum Girl Scout Cookie’s are a little slower growing but not to far behind.

I.P.M.- Team we need to talk about Integrated Pest Management. I want you all to know I have been spraying these ladies every week with two solutions I like to use, I rotate each solution every other week. Safer Brand Organic 3 n 1, it is a mildew/fungicide, insecticide and miticide, the other product is Azamax. There are many other Organic products on the market that work well, but over the years these are the two I prefer. Now I don’t have any bugs or diseases, I do this so I don’t get any bugs or diseases. As well as being extremely clean. I have also found that it helps to not sweep your flower room floor, it creates dust and dirt and whatever else is on the floor to go up into the air and on your plants, if you have carpet, vacuums also blow stuff up in the air. Carbon filters work great to help clean the air as well from unwanted diseases. I use light bleach water and wash my cement floors each week, I might miss a week, but never two. The cleaner you are in your garden and take the precautionary steps to have a clean garden, the more successful you and your garden will be.

Topping- Ok Team were getting to the knitty gritty, it’s time to start the way I like to build my plant’s so they grow into strong bush’s with many top colas, my style all stems from the techniques I have learned from Kyle’s Supercropping and lots of testing and practice. I like to call it North West Power Cropping. I live in a medical state where growers are allowed only a small number of plants, so we like to get the most medicine off our plants as we can get.

Topping is a crucial component to SuperCropping and NW PowerCropping, topping at the right time and the right amount of times on a plant will take practice. Topping is creating more top flowers, hence the meaning, you also top to let the lower branches catch up to the top ones to create extra top’s. Which part of the flower do we love more, THE TOP’S. So we are trying to create as many as possible. There are cautions of topping that you must be aware about, you can only top a plant so many times in certain container sizes, if you top a plant to many times in a small container, the container will get root bound and end results will yield less not more. Follow me through this grow and I will try to explain it better and show in detail. Most growers like to wait until the fifth node to top there plants.

Twist and Snap, (Muscle Building)- In order to Supercrop and NW Powercrop you must have strong branches to hold up all the heavy flowers. I start the muscle building process at an early age and continue muscle building up the plant as it grows bigger, stopping a few weeks before I start flowering. Twist and snap is when you put your fingers around a stem and twist in opposite directions, kind of like a indian rug burn and you twist until you hear a snap, the snap is the inner hurd of the stem breaking. What happens when you do this is in a week or two you will start noticing a buldge like a bicep muscle where the snap was made. In turn it makes your branch stronger and wider for more nutrient uptake and to help hold up heavy yields.

Pic 1- First Topping/ Pic 2- plant on left topped, plant on right topped a week and a half prior./ Pic 3- Single headed clone being topped on the left and our BH double headed clone on the right. I’m telling you, BH double headers are where it’s at ~~~;-D

    Twist and Snap- (Muscle Building)
One other thing, be fragile when twisting but if you happen to break the outer skin a little don’t worry, as long as there’s not that much damage you’ll be A OK. The stem will heal itself in a short time and be a beautiful Cannabis Muscle ~~~;-D. If it is bent leave it, If it is hanging by a thread there is to much damage, you could clone it or toss it. When you T & S the tallest branches or stems you want them bent over slighty, by doing this it lets the rest of the branches or stems catch up so you can grow an even canopy. It takes a little practice to get it right, listen and feel for the snap when you twist ~~~;-D.

You’ve had an awesome wicked week. It was so nice seeing you.Your a hard working honest loving man, thank you for everything you do for me and the Cannabis Community.
The BraveHeart family loves ya ~~~;-D LET’S GROW!!!

Grow Update: These beautiful ladies are moving along just the way we want them to. I’m very happy with the TGA Base mix, it is holding air to moisture ratio very well. We transplanted the youngling’s from the one gallon containers into the ten gallon containers a week ago. Over the weekend I started the next step in creating a NW PowerCropped plant. I want to set it straight and let you know we are not using the LST technique or are we Scrogging. We are creating an oversized SuperCropped plant with a few minor tweaks and with a little longer vegetation time, hence the meaning N.W. POWERCROPPING. This technique is helping medical states that only allow growers a very small number of plants to supply there medicine. I did not create this technique, this one belongs to the creator of SuperCropping and the Elite Master Cannabis Growers of the Pacific North West. I’ve been blessed and granted by my Elder’s to share this information so that it may be used to help provide medicine to the Sick and dying.

Pull and Spread- There are many positive reasons for pulling and spreading your plants. It gives us more room to create and grow a larger plant with a lot more top heavy colas. If spread properly you can create a perfectly round shaped bush, It allows us more control of how we want our plants to grow. It allows more room for growing in small ceiling grow rooms. It creates more of our beloved tops, all those side branches and bottoms will grow straight up now and create more tops. MOST IMPORTANTLY IT INCREASES YOUR YIELD WITH JUST A LITTLE EXTRA EFFORT.

Supplies- I use small anchor hooks with the tiny screw on the bottom, but you can use regular screws or even sometimes North West Master Growers will just drill holes around the side of the rim where there going to tie down. I use paper clip thin industrial stainless steel wire to P & S, but you could use hemp rope, green garden wire or green plant tape.

Instructions- Wait 4-5 days after transplanting to P & S so that your roots have time to adjust and become more solid in your media. Make sure you have watered a day previous to performing P& S, a dry plant is more likely to snap your branches off while pulling downwards. Now look at your plant in detail and consider and configure where your hooks need to be placed around the rim of the pot to P & S your plant correctly to create a circle or shape that best fits your medical garden. When creating your loop with the wire make the loop fat and round so that it leaves room for your stem or branch to grow properly and not cut off its circulation. Pick your first branch and make the loop around it with your wire in a secure place to pull down, pull down gently and slowly until you get the hang of it so that you don’t accidentally break one. Once you have it pulled down to your desired height wrap the opposite end of the wire around your hook to tie down and hold in place. Continue to P & S with all your branches creating your desired shape. I like circular shaped bushes.

Now after you have P & S your plant completely get some sterilized scissors and top all of your tops, only the tops off the branches you pulled down. This is gonna allow the bottoms to grow and catch up as well as create more tops to make an even canopy.

Side Note: Not all strains grow the same, some like to grow straight up when topped and some like to grow sideways and might not even need to be pulled and spread to PowerCrop. Kyles Double headed strawberry cough clone for instance is doing just fine without the P & S procedure. Kyle Kushman Strawberry Cough is one of those strains that will branch sideways just fine on its own after being topped. You have to study and learn your strains. If you’re a beginner, start off with one strain and learn everything about how that strain grows so you can take it to its full potential.

Noodle- You made my day, thank you for the sweet comment. I start the twist and snap technique at a young age, to be on the safe side wait until after you top your plant and the lower branches have at least 2″ of growth. You can start sooner on your main branch or trunk but you must be very careful. Let me know if you don’t understand and I will jump over to your thread and give you a hand. Good job new Cultivator, your making us all proud.

Irie- Great question, I forgot to mention that when we transplanted from the 1 gal. to the 10 gal. they were moved from under the t-5 cloning area to the main vegetation growing area under 1000 watt Metal Halides. Grow Update: Alrighty , It’s time to pull the trigger, flip the switch or your favorite term for starting the flowering cycle. These ladies are oversized SuperCropped plants= PowerCropped. I will be setting up all the switches and fans for flowering in the next four days. If your not convinced that double headed clones and PowerCropping are not special and unique, especially for medical Cannabis growers that live in states that allow you to grow not many plants, take a look at the size of Kyles double headed StrawBerry Cough plant. It is in a 20 Gallon pot and you can barely see it, look at all the tops and it is barely 2 feet tall ~~~;-D LOL. OG Tea and TGA base soil have created a super healthy root web. OOOOH KKing, honestly like always lol, Broski I would pull all the fan leafs off and any leaf that has no sugar (T.H.C., Crystals, Trichomes) and hang those ladies upside down. I’m just not sure if putting them back under 12/12 would cause some sort of stress and start doing something weird to the flowers like unwanted bananas or revegatative growth of some sort. Do you read what I’m saying GrowBro?

OH HELL YA!!!!, This is special, KevT has dropped in Team KUSHMAN. The amount of knowledge just keeps growing on the kylekushman.com forum, Team Kushman is the most honest and knowledgeable growing and growing community on the internet. IF YOU DON’T KNOW, NOW YOU KNOW!!!! Team Kushman we are the best, BE PROUD!!!! LET’S GROW!!!!

Grow Update: BHLand is looking great, we started flowering a few days ago, in order to begin flowering I did a clean up job on the bottom 1/3 of the plants removing all foliage and nodes. I will clean more off the bottom of the plants during weeks 1-2 in flowering when the plants put off there largest stretch. The bottom growth is unnecessary and should be removed, if you leave the bottom growth it will amount to airy not ripened buds that dont add up to much, but if you remove it the energy used on those lil bottom buds will be used for the top buds now ~~~;-D. If light is not touching it, remove it. Also if you leave that bottom foliage it leaves a great place for bugs to nest and pollen and mildew to grow, so remove it and create air flow under the plants. I will be back with a few pictures to explain what I am talking about after week 1 of flower.

P.S. I learned a tip from Kyle, if you have a strain that does not have that many fan leafs and you are hesitant on cleaning out the whole bottom of the plant because you are afraid of losing all your solar reflectors, simply leave the fan leaf that you want but pinch out the node so it does not continue to grow a flower but leaves the solar reflector for your plant. WALLA. KevT the TGA Base soil is ROCKING!!!

Bottom Clean out- Every good Cannabis Cultivar has there own preference of when and how this should be done. But I say as long as your trying your learning. The trellis has been put up to help hold the PowerCropped plants up, not to LST because there is no need besides maybe filling in a small space here or there. With all of the Kushman super cropping techniques used (The Full Kushman Khiropractic Treatment) and the trellis netting with a few stakes here and there I will have full support for a PowerCropped plant. The wire ties have all been removed from the bottom base of the plants, I like to remove them at this point so that the plants can stretch and grow naturally at this phase in there life. Also to be safe not to suffocate and tear into any stems or branches as they grow larger in the flower phase.

Sometimes I have a hard time getting the lower branches to bush out and grow a lot even with topping multiple times…(think im topping too late?) Also, how long did u veg those and under how many watts?

Thanks GrowBro’s, Siccmade I’m hoping that the nutes are out before this spring, Kyle ran into a few snags, but nothing he can’t handle, just fine tuning everything. T.C. lots of love my brother lol Try to follow from the top down GrowBro and if there is something you dont understand I would totally love to answer your questions and help you. Its usually 45-50 days for a Sativa dom Strain in veg and 50- 60 days for indica, I use 1000 watt metal Halides for Veg and a mixture of HPS and MH for Bloom. You do start training at a young age, with the Double Headed Clones I still top each side at the fifth node and let the side branches grow up using the pull and spread technique to hold the plant down lower, continue topping and pull and spread until you get the desired size bush you want using all of the supercropping techniques as the bush grows. A PowerCropped plant is basically is an oversized SuperCropped plant with a few tweaks. On Kyles FaceBook page he has a ton of pics describing how to SuperCrop

You can get them like I can GrowBro it just takes time, tons of patience and studying the Cannabis plant hands on LEARNING HER LANGUAGE as Kyle likes to say. I am a professional, just like a Doctor, Lawyer, fireman, teacher, it has taken me and fellow Professional Cannabis Cultivars such as my Mentor Kyle Kushman many years of hands on studying and research to achieve the skills and knowledge of this plant that we love. Surgeons don’t start surgeries right away, they have to study and practice for many years, the same thing with cultivating Cannabis, just like anything else in this world you have to work hard and put in the time studying so you can posses the knowledge, KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. With this thread I am just trying to show medical growers proven techniques to achieve a larger yield when states only allow 6 plants per patient. Put these techniques to use and practice for many crops and you will veg your plants just like mine if not better. You might even teach my fellow professionals and I something new, and just like my mentors, I am always willing to learn something new and I am far from perfect. I’m just a good grower ~~~;-D giving back and teaching just like Kyle and my mentors did before me. By the way I love Team Kushman, Team Kushman and I have built a lot of trust with each other and Cannabis growers trust around the world with accurate information when they needed it most. Siccmade, I originally started with the Gen Organic Go Box and switched over to Kushman Practices 3 years ago.

Are you using anything besides the Gen Organic kit? Are you giving your plants any sort of Beneficial Bacteria along
with the Gen Organic stuff? The Bio Marine smells Horrible and the smell its self makes it not worth buying.

Not trying to bash on General Hydroponics but their product is 50% synthetic. If you can afford to switch over the Canna Line or wait a little bit longer for Kyle’s Vegamatrix to become available you will be in better shape.

Also you have to make sure your Grow room is giving your plants the perfect Environment (Lighting, air circulationCo2, and proper cooling or heating if your in the north).

I just got a new Dehumidifier to replace the old one, make sure to keep your AC and Dehumidifier filters, fans clean Team K. and make sure to keep your floors clean, I use a light bleach wash (where you can barely smell bleach, don’t overload it) on my cement floors at least every other week, and while the floors are wet is when I bust out the broom and sweep the floors and scrub them while it’s wet so no dry dust gets thrown up in the air. I have a floor drain so I can go heavy on the water, if you don’t have a floor drain just do a normal light wash. Even the floors of your tents and hopefully your not on top of carpet and are at least using a tarp to cover your floors, clean the tarp.

Hows it goin T.C., No I have never heard of Aptus products before, thank you for telling me about them. I checked out the website for you and read everything there for you. They sure make all there products sound amazingly good. They are basically an additive company, they want you to use there additives with your choice of Base nutrient of your liking. I’m gonna share a tip about nutrients and nutrient companies for you T.C. and Team Kushman to know.

When a nutrient company has a bottle for every single vitamin/additive/nutrient needed to grow a plant. There ripping you off. We are in the year 2013 and Plant scientists and chemists have found ways to combine ingredients to engineer and design fertilizers. The Veganic Nutrients I am using right now have Grow, Bloom, Boost and its own Enzyme, and they are by far the best nutrients I have ever used. Grow Update: Team Kushman around the 4th -5th week of flower I like to take a look at the canopy and do some selective leaf pruning. This is when you look for the the fan leafs that are covering bud sites and not allowing light to penetrate. I didn’t say remove all of the fan leafs/ solar reflectors, that will come later 1-2 weeks before harvest. You have to be selective and only remove the necessary foliage to enhance your yields and quality of flowers.

Thanks B in the D, this particular Strawbz plant is the nicest Strawbz I’ve grown all year. With PowerCropping I try to stay around 45-60 days vegetating then switch to bloom. Sometimes I lag on my posts but I try my best. Thank you for following GrowBro!!!!

    Dear Team,
I want to talk about a few things that are on my mind. GrowBro’s it is up to US to change the minds in our community that are against Cannabis. We HAVE to be responsible caring growers. Don’t go around acting like a gangstah or drug dealer causing problems. It’s funny how some people have one or two grows and they think they are Tony Montana. If your a new Grower stay humble and quiet and keep to your own. Spend your time learning and reading instead of showing off and running your mouth. Be a grower, but also be one of the best citizens in your community, love your neighbors, vote, clean your yard, love your family and take care of your children if u have them. If we want society to change there minds about us who do you think needs to show them, YUP THATS RIGHT, WE DO.

STAY TRUE. Be a loyal friend and respectful grower. Team there has been many growers before you or I ever came around. Lets keep the history and traditions alive that our forefathers put in place for us. Ive been growing this plant for twenty some years and I don’t know it all and I have the utmost respect for all the growers and freedom fighters before me like, Jack Herer, D. Perron, Eddy Rosenthal, Kyle Kushman, DJ Short, SubCool and there are many more that hide in the mountains and in basements and warehouses. Respect these people, don’t go around changing breeders strain names without asking the breeder first, breeders put in so much work and dedication into there product. I’m done ranting for now, but please listen to me I know a little something ~~~;-D.

    Team Kushman and Friends,

It’s time to let you know that I have been using the VEGAMATRIX line of nutrients for my thread. It is an honor to be able to be part of this amazing process. As you all know I have been cultivating for many years and have earned the trust of many growers from around the world. I have to say these are by far the most amazing nutrients I have ever used and I am not being biased to Kushman, I am speaking as a true grower. I used to use ten bottles of nutrients to achieve top shelf Veganic Medicine, on the other hand VEGAMATRIX gave better results with only using half the amount of bottles! The daily growth I witnessed was incredible, nothing I’ve ever seen before. This led me to bring in other twenty plus year professional growers into my garden so they could experience just a little bit of what I’ve experienced first hand. My plants are alive and thriving into the seventh week and I have never noticed plants going through photosynthesis at such fast speed and for so long. VEGAMATRIX will have your leaves standing straight up, singing and praying, thank you to the plant GODS!

Team Kushman and Friends, with Kyle Kushman and Hydrik GreenThumbs aka VeganicsEB’s help, we will guide you and mentor you as you all make the transition into THE VEGAMATRIX SYSTEM. Prepare to be AMAZED!~~~;-D

I know this is exciting, please be patient as the VEGAMATRIX line of nutrients is set to be on the market late 2013, early 2014.

I have only been using my camera phone, before harvest time I will have more professional photos taken so you can see in detail and visualize how your garden will look when you start using VEGAMATRIX.

Hey BRAVEHEART, been following this post. Love it! So much good information.
I got a few questions about I.P.M. I’m a new grower with only a few grows under my belt. Just about ready to start my next. On this one, I’m going to add some I.P.M. to my routine. I bought some Azamax and yesterday, while at the hardware store, I saw some of that Safer Brand Organic 3 In 1 to talked about. So I picked that up as well.
My questions are: 1 – I grow from seed. About when is a good time to start spraying? 2 – When do you stop spraying? When you go to 12/12? 3 – The Safer Brand stuff, you don’t dilute that at all do you? 4 – I’ve never sprayed my plants with anything yet. Never foliar fed, nothing. So, you pretty much just follow the directions on the bottle for both and stay back about 12 inches when spraying right?
Hitting both the top and bottom of the leafs but not soaking them?
Sorry if these questions are ridiculous. Just want to make sure I know what I’m doing. Any other advice on the Azamaz and Safer Brand would be greatly appreciated.
Again dude, great thread! Also, thanks for all the advice you give in general. Really helps.

    Whats Happening Dizzy!!!

Thank you for the kind words, any chance I get to help a GrowBro I will ~~~;-D.

    1. You should start implementing I.P.M. from the beginning of a plants life. It could be something simple like hanging a sticky trap from the base of your pot and from your ceiling, to keeping your garden clean. I personally try not to spray any pesticides on the younglings until they are on there second node and dilute my spray to half strength. Make sure to spray your pesticides with the lights off, they could burn your plants or there is also always the accidental bulb KABOOOM!!!!
Always hit the top and the bottom of the leafs, most types of plant insects are on the underside of the leaf, especially mites.

During the summer when I know mites and other insects are lurking around and just waiting for any opportunity to RUIN A CROP I spray up until the end of the 1st week of flower always using a organic non residual spray. I have been having great success using the Hard N Quick from VegaMatrix combined with my I.P.M.. The Hard N Quick is the first FDA approved PGR, and derives from Ascophyllum Nodosum (seaweed). I get the benefits of the PGR and the I.P.M. at the same time so I am not over foliar spraying. Its working out great. You get nice thick stalks with shorter internodal space from the Hard and Quick and protection from the neem ~~~;-D LUVVVVVV IT!!!!!

Broski feel free to ask any questions, always here to help, Brother Brave

Honestly what I would do, I would take 1 big block of Lucky Dog and two bags of Manna Mix and mix the two together and maybe add some more perlite. You will be able to have a stronger Rhizo faster with the mix, also add a good blend of Endo and Ecto Mycorrhizae and some fungal as well and you will be a rockin.

And I have another question: where can I found a video showing how to adjust ph of your benificial brew? Please, please don’t tell me how to do it, I just want to see it on a video.

    Thank you

Honestly I have never tried that mix of soils before Esta, but if I were I would add some perlite to make it a little more airy.

I do not ever ph my microbial tea’s. I get my 30 gallon reservoir and fill it up to the 26 gallon mark, I then add my Vegamatrix nutrients and stir each product in well. After this is when I check the PH and adjust if need be, and after this is when I dump my 4 gallon microbial tea to top off the 30 gallon reservoir and I water the plants. One day I promise U Esta I will make videos.

I misspoke. The soil mix that you offered to PimpT which is one big block of Lucky Dog mixed with two bags of manna mix, does that soil mix is Veganic?

As regarding your microbial tea. I do not understand why you adjust the ph of the water after putting your nutrients, it is useless because when you put your air stones, the air stones will drastically lowered the pH of your water really fast.

I just finish a run of Dr who from subcool. That strain has nice colors towards the end it looks almost electrified and high is  great for stress and anxiety and not to heavy but not to light it’s just right lol sweet and sour taste.  Last year I did outdoor  in the middle of the city it grew damn near 15ft. Was an experience I really wouldn’t wanna do again unless I was not in the city lol couldn’t hide nothing lmao oh we’ll I’m inside now so I’m pretty happy all the way around. Braveheart High,

Looks great i just started my sixth week of flowering and they are getting frosty. I have been using big up with my nutes and all looks great, can i clone when i am flowering ? I want to try i was just wondering if you have tried it or am i to late ? I really understand the nutes and PH now i don’t know why i was so confused  it’s simple. Cannabis is a strong plant because in the start i messed up my PH not knowing that it balanced out when the nutes are added. They are fine even though i am crazy,do you know if eating it will cure me or do i have to make the oil ? Thank you all so much i have taken pictures and when i get them i would love for all to see them.

    Peace,Aguri,Z

    Hello Zap1969,

I would like to help you with your question on cloning while in flowering.
The short answer will most likely hear is “NO” they say this because of the flower is already blooming, and in your situation being in week 6 of flower you will almost be sure to get a “NO” answer on taking clones. Some growers now try taking clones at week 2-3 of flower and revert the clones taken back to a 18/6 or 24/0 light cycle to push the small flower clones back into veg and this technique is called “monster cropping” when the flower clones root branches shoot out from the bud site. All facts aside if you feel like you want to try and take a clone or two from your flower girls I would suggest taking them from the bottom where the buds are smaller and less woody. I would also like to thank you for posting this question and you peaked my curiosity. I have a room at week 8 of flower and I’m going to try and take a few clones from the bottom of the side that got left natural and not pruned. I love to experiment and try things that others are scared of because of “that’s just the way it’s always been done” I try to grow “on the edge” as some might say. I’m not scared to try new techniques or technology and blend that with my background in traditional growing to hope to find something new or fail horribly. Even with failure comes success because you’ve learned what didn’t work or what maybe you could have tried different to make it succeed, with this I want to try taking week 8 clones and see if they root!
Zap1969 and everyone I will report back with the results. I hope this helps answer your question and let me know if you have anything else to add.

    As always LightSpeedGrows,
Have a great growing day with a feel good vibe!

Zap, the technical answer is yes you can clone at anytime the plant is alive. Whether the cutting roots out is another answer. That will mainly depend on genetics. The reason I don’t recommend cloning after week three is because internally the plant is past a hyper root making stage. Also it takes from the yield. Also it can cause unneeded stress on plants causing male flowers to pop up. Also while cloning can be done in flowering etc ones has to ask, is it the best time to do it. Of there is a plant I like and I want more of it and I forgot to clone it, I simply cut the top portion of plant leaving the bottom 2 or so branches. I stick in the veg room and reveg the plant. Three weeks of 24 hour light the plant will revert back to veg. So if you can I would cancel cloning in week six, chip at week 8/9 and reveg and start them over then recline from there. One really want to not cut past week 4 in flower for cloning if you want good percentage of survival.

    Hello Driverinthedank,

I agree completely with what you restated off of my comment and would have to say that I took a few clones from the small underside of one plant just to see what happens. I expect them to fail based on my knowledge of how plants grow but who knows the could root and be great but I’m only giving these clones pictured below a 40-60% percent chance of living and that is a generous estimate. The other clones pictured below have been in the dome for a week today and they are my TGA Dairy Queen cross and as a test when I took those clones I cloned five using organic raw honey to see if that could be used as a rooting compound, I bet you cant tell what five are the honey! Below is my clone box its a simple large Rubbermaid style container with a 5000k led and a mondi dome for the clones. You can also see the six clones I took before and after dipping in the rooting gel and placing them into root riots. The flower clones I took are week 8 Cold Creek Kush one week from finish.
