So what’s the best indoor strain for beginners? And when I say beginners I mean people like me who have only grown carrots!

I’m assuming you mean carrots. A good beginner indoor strain would definately have to be an indica or a hybrid. Sativas are just more finicky and they take longer. My suggestions would be either Blackberry Kush or Grape Ape. Anything in the true Kush family like Bubba or grand Daddy Purps are all very hearty and are easy to grow. Blackberry Kush pictured here…:-)

    Hey GB,
Yeah she’s a good grow. I don’t have her in my stable anymore. Though, I would be interested in re-acquiring it…:-)

All of Kyle’s recommendations are good for a first time grower. I’d def have to add Northern Lights to the list. One of the most forgiving strains I’ve ever dealt with for sure! Suuuper frosty too. Happy growing!

I don’t know either of those strains. But I can tell you from experience that sativas, especially hazes are much more finicky than kush’s…:-)

    Liberty Haze (G13 x Chem Dawg 91)
Liberty haze is a cross of G13 male with a fast flowering Chem Dawg 91. Liberty Haze has both Indica and sativa characteristics with one perfect talent.- a fast flowering time. (8 to 9 weeks). A medium tall plant with substantial girth and big fat calyxes, she performs excellently in both indoor and outdoor environments. Long dense cola’s start to really fatten up in the last three weeks with dense trichome production with beautiful contrasting red and purple hairs. The Liberty Haze buzz is immediate and long lasting with an alert and euphoric cerebral effect. Has a distinct and refreshing lime taste and fragrance.
Lab tests have rated the THC content at up to 25 percent
Flowering Time: 60-65 days, if outdr – End Sept-Early Oct
    Yield: 650 gr/m2
    Height 90-100 cms
    THC: 25%, CBD: 1.8%

Critical Kush (Critical Mass x OG Kush)

Practically lethal at 25% THC and 2.1% CBD. If you think you need more than that, you’ve got a death wish! A robust Indica, offers huge yields of some of the stoniest Kush we’ve ever seen. It combines that classic flavour and aroma with an unbelievable amount of sticky, crystal-covered nuggs. You’ll enjoy the most laid-back night of your life, known to relax the body to relieve everyday aches & pains for a wonderful late-night smoke. Tasty blaze awaits!

    Flowering Time: 8 wks
    THC: 25%, CBD: 2.1%
    Yield: 750grm/m2

I think I mite be leaning towards the critical kush but it is not good for outdoor only indoor so I don’t know if that makes a diffents in if its harty or not but the liberty sounds really good to and it is hybrid but still not sure have forgiving it is but I guess u don’t know till I try I really like these cuz of high yield amazing THC and CBD content and early flowering like they seem to good to be tru lol

I’m not sure if I believe 25% THC is possible in a flower. I know we’re getting close to the limit of what is possible with ratings in the 20 percentiles.
    THANKS FOR THE AWESOME POST…:-)

Here is a easy to grow HAZE that’s is good for the novice grower Chocolope (OG Chocolate Thai x Cannalope Haze)
Chocolope Cannabis Seeds, which were originally named D-Line, are a novice grower’s dream plant! With a uniquely heavy yield and large heavy nugs, she is extremely easy to grow. This Sativa heavy plant likes to grow tall so beware if space is an issue, however she can grow out with a little training.

We chose to cross our Original Chocolate Thai female with the Cannalope male, and then started backcrossing this to achieve a shorter flower time and still retain some of the Original Chocolate Thai qualities. What makes these Cannabis Seeds so special is that when you enjoy her you taste that chocolate you’ve been missing from the 80’s! The Chocolope is the “ONE”! Not much haze, but you don’t need it.

With a 100% record in competitions she’s entered, we know it’s not just us that love her!

Strain of the Year 2007 Hightimes
1st Hydro Highlife Cup 2008, 2nd Sativa HT Cannabis Cup 2010 , 2nd Coffeeshop HT Cannabis Cup 2007, 2nd Hydro Highlife Cup 2007, 3rd Hydro Highlife Cup 2009, 3rd Coffeeshop HT Cannabis Cup 2008, 3rd Indoor Bio Spannabis 2008, 3rd Hollyweed Cup 2006

    95% Sativa/5% Indica
    Flowering Time: 8-9 weeks
    Yield: 500-600 grms/m2
    Feminized 6 seeds for $90

There are many good seed breeders, you just need to do some research. Before you spend a couple hundred bucks for 10 seeds you should get yourself some cheaper strains and give it a go that way you can learn.

I don’t suggest anyone use the time it takes to grow a full cycle to grow “cheaper” strains.
If you’re not sure of your growing skills, save 4 seeds per pack just in case.
Or buy clones as they are replaceable…:-)

    Beautiful bud shot!

If you ask around you can find the KKSC all around the Denver area. It’s easy to tell if it’s the real deal. Rubbing the stalk produces a strong, amazing aroma like no other.

Here she is. STILL my favorite as well…:-)
